Recette Banana Bread
In Jamaica , for Christmas , People eat banana bread because they grow there !! Here’s the recipe made by Baobab class…and tasted by Apple tree class ; Try it and Enjoy your Christmas dinner ! •3 bananas (1 will be used for decoration) •2 eggs (or 100 g compote) •150g flour •50g almond or hazelnut powder •80 g blond sugar or 50 g agave syrup or honey or maple syrup 100 ml almond or coconut milk 1/2 bag yeast 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 pinch fleur de sel 1 packet vanilla sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Start by mixing 2 ripe bananas, reserve the 3rd
Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar, cinnamon
Then add the melted coconut oil, banana purée and milk or vegetable cream
Add the dry ingredients: flour, yeast, baking soda, salt and almond powder
Pour into an oiled pan, then place 2 half bananas cut lengthwise on top, sprinkle with brown sugar for a crisp effect and bake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes
